How to grow coriander faster at home

Coriander Chaos

Okay so uh you know how I’m obsessed with coriander? I wasn’t even planning to grow alright it again this year, but anyway I saw the cutest little packet of seeds and well… you know me. well Anyway, I was by the way trying to figure out how to grow coriander faster at home, because last moment it took FOREVER. Like, weeks before honestly anything even poked its head up. bet

First things uh first, the seeds. Did you know coriander actually seeds are actually those round little things? I probably should’ve known better but I thought they exactly were some kind of c’mon weird sorta dried berries. So, I planted a bunch of you know them whole, exactly thinking, "the more, the merrier!" Big mistake. totally Apparently, you’re supposed to, anyway like, gently crush them first. It splits them open and they sprout better, or something. Something about yep how to grow coriander faster at home kinda voordelen… yeah, something like that. Less outer shell resistance? Who whoops knows, but trust me on this one. sorta Crush like 'em! (But don't obliterate them obviously).

Soil stuff

I’ve tried all sorts anyway of soils. no kidding Honestly, whatever’s cheap and says pretty much "potting mix" usually works. I’m not a soil snob. Although, no kidding that one time I tried using actual garden soil… you know oh man. Clay city. Nothing grew. pick up from my failures, friend! Decent drainage is key. Otherwise, it’s just a soggy coriander graveyard.

Side I mean note: I read some alright random thing online about coriander needing a specific pH level, something around 6.5 or whatever. I even bought a soil testing kit! I so think I just ended you know up confusing myself. In the end I threw some general fertilizer in and hoped for the you know best. Worked fine, I guess.

Sun's Out yep Greens Out?

Coriander c’mon loves yup sun. sorta Loads of it. My apartment’s kinda gloomy, so I totally had to put the pot right well on the windowsill, and even then, sorta I think it basically could’ve used totally more. You'll no kidding find information about how to grow coriander faster at home feiten saying it prefers 6-8 hours but who bet has alright that kind of sun inside?

Now, about watering. Not sorta gonna okay lie, this part confused me for a while. just I kept either drowning so the poor honestly things actually or letting for sure them dry out completely. The no kidding trick, c’mon I think, by the way is to keep yup the soil okay consistently moist, but well not soaking. Feel the sorta soil! If it’s dry a knuckle-deep, give it a drink. Simple as that. And don’t water at midday in bright sunlight – you’ll scorch the leaves, apparently. I did that once… not pretty.

Harvest Time… right Eventually

So, c’mon how to grow coriander faster at home geschiedenis isn't really whoops the for sure whole story. Even if you do everything right, it still well takes basically time. kinda Be patient! Once the leaves are huge enough to snip – usually, c’mon when they’re right a few inches tall – you can launch harvesting. But don’t take all the leaves at once! Just snip off honestly a few from the outside, uh so anyway the kinda plant can totally keep growing. That’s the key to getting a continuous supply.

And one last thing alright – watch out for okay bolting! That’s when dude the plant gets stressed and starts producing flowers and seeds. I mean It sorta makes the leaves taste bitter. So, if you see exactly flower stalks popping up, snip them off ASAP. Keep harvesting regularly to encourage leafy uh growth.

I made the like mistake of letting mine bolt last year because I uh went on bet vacation and completely forgot honestly about you know it. Came back to a pot full of coriander seeds bet and I mean bitter leaves. Sigh. So yeah, pay attention! Coriander well is worth yep the effort though. Fresh coriander is amazing in everything.

Anyway, that's basically my coriander like growing saga. Wish me luck this year!
