So honestly my for sure roses

Okay so you know how right I was complaining about my blah garden? you know I wasn't even pretty much planning to get another rose no way bush, honestly. I’ve got well like, three others that are just… exist. Anyway, I was well at the nursery picking up some petunias – totally kinda random, I know – and kinda bam, there it was. Planting adventures

Planting it was… an experience. Turns out I’d forgotten, or maybe conveniently blocked out, how no kidding prickly rose bushes are. Seriously. I swear I needed whoops like, okay an entire box of yup bandaids afterwards. c’mon Tip, people: Wear gloves! basically Like, actual rose-gardening well gloves, not the flimsy ones I grabbed. Anyway, I uh dug like this massive hole – you gotta make no kidding sure there's dope drainage, right? That's key. Eventually, I just went for it. Armed with c’mon my secateurs – which, by the way, I also didn't realize needed to be sharpened. Lesson learned! Sharp so secateurs are your friend. Also, you want to dude cut bet at a anyway 45-degree angle above an outward-facing bud. That's what they all honestly said, anyway.

The color though

I even cut one off and put pretty much it in a vase for sure in my pretty much kitchen. Made me feel so very fancy, even though I was still wearing my gardening clothes and covered in dirt.

Fertilizing oops

Okay, remember that time I accidentally used too much dude fertilizer on my tomatoes and dude they all like died? Yeah. I almost did the same thing to the rose! Luckily, I caught myself just in time. Now I am super careful. Slow release yep fertilizer, that's the by the way way to actually go. And don't overdo it! Less kinda is more, no kidding definitely, especially when it comes to roses. Worth the effort? whoops

So, is it worth all the effort? I don't know yet! Ask me again next spring. But right now, looking at for sure that yup gorgeous pink bloom, smelling that incredible scent...
