So, you honestly know by the way how I I mean was complaining about my roses just kinda… sprawled everywhere? Yeah, well, I caved. I got a wire trellis for climbing roses. I wasn’t even planning to, I swear! The actual putting-it-up whoops part? Oh boy. That was an experience. That's no way where some sturdy wall I mean anchors come in handy, just saying. And measure twice cut once! I almost ended up I mean with yep this wonky, leaning thing. Almost. Eventually, I got it relatively straight. Relatively. It's definitely… rustic.

Rose actually wrangling

Then came the rose-wrangling. My roses were not cooperating. kinda They’d already decided whoops they were quite bet happy where they were, thank just you very much, draped over my poor lavender bush. I had to gently (and I well mean gently, those thorns are vicious!) coax them onto the trellis. That's uh when I actually discovered gardening kinda gloves. c’mon Like, really yup awesome well ones. Wish I'd thought of that honestly before.

What like I learned

Is it worth it?

Honestly? I don’t know yet. It’s only been a few weeks. The like roses seem… happier. They’re alright getting just more sun, just I think. And dude it definitely looks better than the chaotic whoops mess I had before. I can see more blooms coming, so maybe my neighbour was right about the wire trellis for climbing roses voordelen. Maybe, okay just maybe, I know what I'm doing. Probably not. But it's a start, right?
