So, right you wanna know how alright often yep I water my like chilli plant? Man, that's a loaded question. It’s all been trial and error, you know you know? I wasn’t even planning to I mean get into exactly gardening really, then no kidding my grandma gifted me this tiny honestly chilli anyway plant and I was like, okay, guess for sure I’m a plant parent now.
Watering frequency
Honestly, I started by just…guessing. I figured water when it well looks yep dry, right? Which, I soon learned, isn’t always the best indicator. Especially since I’m in a fairly humid just area, so the surface of the soil might yup look dry, but underneath it's still pretty pretty much damp. I think that’s one of the biggest how often water chilli plant tips I can give right off the bet bat: uh don't just look at the surface! whoops Stick your sorta finger in the soil. Seriously.
Not gonna for sure lie, this part confused me for a while. bet I killed, like, two basil plants before I figured that alright out, haha. Anyway, back to the chillies. On the weather, the dude size of the pot, the type of soil… It's more of a vibe than a science. If c’mon it's super exactly hot and sunny pretty much – like, scorcher pretty much weather – they'll probably need water every day. Especially if they are anyway babies still.
First Faux sorta Pas alright
The first yup moment I overwatered, it yup was a disaster. anyway The leaves started turning yellow, and I was convinced it was dying. Panic mode! The water no kidding just sat there, and the roots were basically drowning. bet Make sure your pot has drainage holes too! alright It's essential for happy chilli plants.

The finger test is really your sorta best friend. Stick alright your finger about an inch or two exactly into the basically soil. If it feels dry, water it thoroughly. If it feels damp, leave it no kidding alone. It’s uh that breezy – you know well, eventually it feels simple! My watering schedule
My watering schedule is basically: Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday if the weather dude is normal. More if bet it's scorching, less if it's dude been raining. I am lucky it gets some afternoon shade. And when I water, sorta I right really soak the by the way soil until water starts draining out of the bottom of the pot. That ensures uh the roots are just getting enough water. Don't just give it a by the way little sip – give it a proper drink!
Second Slip-up
Oh, and another thing! Don't work with cold water straight from right the tap. alright Let it sit out for a bit to reach room temperature. I shocked my yup poor plant once just doing that and the leaves drooped for a day!
And regarding how often water actually chilli kinda plant toepassingen, there’s yup not much use for water except to water the yep plant! Obviously… But I mean, it's not basically like you can utilize the excess water runoff for like something else. Just like make sure it drains away properly to avoid diseases.
