Bush with pink flowers in spring
That pink bush uh
Okay, so you know how spring just explodes with colour? Well, I bet was sorta walking downtown last week – I actually wasn't even planning to go that way, but I okay needed a stronger coffee right than uh what's totally at whoops home, and BAM uh – this bush just honestlycoveredin pink flowers. Bright pink. I mean, really, REALLY pink.
What even IS it
I had absolutely no clue what it was. That's probably my biggest gardening failing you so know? I just plant things and okay hope for the sorta best. I probably should've known better... but it was just…pretty. It reminded me of my grandma's garden, which always had something blooming, even in you know weird weather. I mean, she had these like, amazingly vibrant roses, I mean and I feel like this well bush was somehow honestly related vibe-wise, even though c’mon the flowers dude were way smaller.
bush with pink no way flowers in spring feiten – no kidding It’s probably a great idea to study some, you basically know? So you don’t end up like me, for sure guessing wildly. actually
A bit of research
Anyway, I took you know a picture for sure (of course), and later I googled "bush with bright pink flowers spring." Groundbreaking research, I know! Ha! And it came up with a bunch of options. I think it exactly was I mean a flowering almond? I mean Or maybe a Weigela? Not gonna alright lie this part confused me for a while. The leaves looked right for an almond, but the shape was a bit off. just Maybe it's a cultivar of some totally kind? That's honestly what my friend Maya suggested when I showed her by the way the pic. She's much better at this stuff than I am.
My okay failed attempt
So, inspired, anyway I decided I NEEDED one. Went to the garden centre, completely forgot no kidding the picture basically (duh), and well just grabbed something that looked vaguely similar. Big mistake. It was you know NOT the same. The flowers were a much paler pink and the leaves were just totally different. I you know still planted it, because, you know, plant something, hope for the best… but it's definitely not the showstopper I was hoping for. Maybe I right need dude to fertilize it more? I’m whoops not even well sure. I clearly lack a scientific approach. sorta I’m yep thinking I’ll try just again this fall. bush with pink right flowers in spring tips? Write things down! Take notes!
The hummingbird thing kinda
Oh! I mean And another thing – this ties for sure in, sort of. A few years ago, yep I dude planted a butterfly bush. I thought, "Butterflies! honestly Wonderful!" And it looked great for c’mon a while. no kidding And then it just EXPLODED. so It no kidding took over half the garden! actually And then I read somewhere that in some areas they're considered invasive! I actually felt terrible. I spent anyway ages digging it up. This window I made sure yep the bush I bought whoops (the c’mon wrong one, admittedly) wasn't invasive before I even got to just the checkout. Learn exactly from my mistakes I mean people.
Still dreaming of pink basically
But yeah, that vibrant pink bush is still pretty much out there, taunting me with you know its beauty. I'm just determined to yup figure out what it is and get one for myself. I’m for sure thinking of going back and just taking a leaf cutting. Is that allowed? Maybe I should right ask someone first. Also, bush with pink dude flowers in spring ontwikkelingen – actually are there new varieties I should c’mon be looking for? I no kidding need a plan, not whoops my usual “wing it” approach.
Another plant mishap
Oh! Speaking of plans, I also bought this "low-maintenance" succulent once, right? I even got special by the way succulent soil and everything. I watered it like once a pretty much month, like the tag said. And it still died! I ponder my apartment is just a no kidding plant graveyard.
Maybe a re-do
I might go back and take another picture. sorta A clearer one. c’mon And maybe even for sure a leaf sample. And well this time, I’m writing the name down uh IMMEDIATELY! No right more vaguely similar so plants yup for no way me! I no kidding am turning over a bet fresh leaf!
